contenido del memorando que dirigieran al Sr. Presidente de la
República los señores Kevin
Casas, Ministro de Planificación y Vicepresidente de la
República, y Fernando
Sánchez, Diputado por la
Fracción del Partido Liberación Nacional, la
Alianza Ciudadana por el Sí manifiesta su posición oficial en
los siguientes términos:</span></font><font size="2"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"></span></font></p>

Alianza por el Sí nunca se conocieron ni se discutieron las
recomendaciones de los señores Casas y Sánchez, y nos enteramos de sus
opiniones al leerlas en la prensa.</span></font></p>

enfáticamente el contenido de dicho memorando y por ello los señores Casas y Sánchez
no tendrán ninguna participación en la campaña de la
Alianza por el Si.</span></font></p>

quienes dirigen la campaña del NO carecen de autoridad moral para hablar de
campañas del miedo porque son ellos quienes han estado ejecutando, a lo largo
de tres años, una intensa campaña para inducir, a base de mentiras, el temor
en nuestra población. Entre las incontables falsedades han dicho que se va a
perder la CCSS,
que se va a privatizar el ICE, que vamos a convertirnos en mercaderes de
órganos y armas, que se va a formar un ejército, que se van a llevar el agua,
o a perder los derechos laborales que disfrutamos los costarricenses, y que
hasta que los estadounidenses se llevarían la
Isla del Coco.</span></font></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><font face="Times New Roman" size="2"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> </span></font></p>

<font size="2"><span style="font-size: 10pt;"> Los dirigentes del No han fomentado y protagonizado
innumerables agresiones físicas y verbales. Estos son hechos concretos de una
campaña de miedo e intimidación del NO y de los cuales ha sido testigo todo
el país. Por el contrario, nuestra campaña se ha basado en la unión de la
familia costarricense, en fomentar la discusión seria, y en informar
constructiva y verazmente.</span></font></p>

respetuosos con sus interlocutores y con los costarricenses, como lo dictan
los mejores valores y tradiciones de los ticos. Somos una sociedad de paz, de
respeto y de debate de ideas y así hemos actuado y seguiremos actuando de
esta manera.</span></font></p>
